Currently enshift is carrying out a large-scale commercial project for Swiss Real Estate AG, the owner of the property in Affoltern am Albis. Among the tenants is Möbel Pfister, one of Switzerland’s most traditional and prominent furniture retailers. The project represents another important step toward making the energy supply of major retail sites more sustainable, efficient and future-proof.

At the Affoltern am Albis site, we are implementing a comprehensive energy modernisation of the property. The core of the project is a high-performance photovoltaic system covering the entire roof surface and already fully installed. This installation will supply the site with locally generated renewable electricity over the long term — a concrete contribution to improved efficiency and reduced emissions across Switzerland’s retail property market.

Photovoltaic System

The roof of the Möbel Pfister site in Affoltern am Albis was fully prepared for the installation of the photovoltaic system. A high-performance PV system of around 1.4 MWp was then installed, optimally utilising the entire available roof area. With module installation now complete, all structural and construction work on the roof has been successfully finalised.

In the coming weeks, the electrical components will be connected, tested and prepared for grid commissioning. Once operational, the system will cover a significant share of the building’s energy demand and substantially enhance the property’s overall energy performance.
