Two existing multi-family houses were to be upgraded to a modern energy standard without major interventions in the building structure – sustainably, efficiently, and economically sensible.
By installing a high-performance rooftop PV system on both buildings and using two reversible air-to-water heat pumps, maximum energy efficiency was achieved. The specially developed substructure for the heat pumps and the new main distribution (HV) ensure reliable operation and optimal coordination of all systems. A high self-consumption maximizes the economic viability and energy independence of the buildings
Benefits of our approach:
- Year-round comfort: Sustainable heating in winter and energy-efficient cooling in summer.
- Maximum use of roof areas: Optimized PV installation on two buildings.
- High self-consumption: A large percentage of the solar power is used directly on-site.
- Infrastructure upgrade: New HV and specialized substructure for smooth system integration.
- Future-proof: Significant CO₂ reduction, property value retention, and increased attractiveness of the properties.
This project shows: With intelligent planning and interconnected technology, we make residential properties energy-efficient, sustainable, and economically attractive.
